Easter morning was overcast in Bergen, but the joy of the resurrection filled our hearts as we worshipped together on the hill. Joy, Christin, and Alden led in singing and David read scripture. Monday, January 5, marked the start of the official week-long installation of the new carpet in the sanctuary. However, the work began long before this date, with Dave and Kevin removing the risers on the platform, moving wiring, and making other cosmetic changes to prepare for the new carpet.
