Easter Sunrise Service

Easter morning was overcast in Bergen, but the joy of the resurrection filled our hearts as we worshipped together on the hill. Joy, Christin, and Alden led in singing and David read scripture. Pastor Hoyt reminded us of the hope of the resurrection both in our spiritual lives and in our everyday challenges.

We were grateful that the rain ended just before we started to set up and that the wind was neither as strong nor as cold as it sometimes is on the hill. Hot coffee and food awaited us all at the Bergen United Methodist Church after the service on the hill.
