New Carpet for Sanctuary

Monday, January 5, marked the start of the official week-long installation of the new carpet in the sanctuary. However, the work began long before this date, with Dave and Kevin removing the risers on the platform, moving wiring, and making other cosmetic changes to prepare for the new carpet. Also, areas of the flooring had to be patched, and subflooring needed to be installed in much of the sanctuary.

David, Jonathan, Rob, and others had to clear all the sound and video equipment from the balcony and move it into the Fellowship Hall. The removal went quicker than expected, but the true test comes when everything has to be hooked back up on Saturday.

Everything is expected to be completed and the sanctuary ready for worship on January 11.
