Special Door of Hope features George Collichio

You are invited to the fourth of our Spring '24 Concert Series featuring George Collichio. The concert will be held this Saturday evening, April 27, at 6 PM. Unlike most of the Door of Hope Coffeehouse evenings, this concert will be held in the Sanctuary of the church. There will be a time of fellowship and refreshments in the Fellowship Hall after the concert.


George Collichio is a National Recording Artist, Performer, Music Educator, and private guitar instructor. George has nine National CD releases and continues a busy performance schedule. He has a Master of Music in Performance and Pedagogy from Nazareth University School of Music and a Bachelor of Music from Empire State University.


A former adjunct College Professor at SUNY Empire State College in Rochester and remotely at the College's Suffolk County Long Island campus where he taught Guitar, Music Theory, and Advanced Jazz Theory. He is the founder of the "Collichio School of Music" in Rochester NY that had maintained three locations and is still a highly sought-after teacher in the area as well as other parts of the country via Zoom.


He has played hundreds of events throughout the U.S. and Italy and has appeared and performed on National and Cable TV shows including The KUSI morning show (San Diego) and NBC (cable affiliate) news program. His last release was picked up by over seventy Smooth Jazz Radio Stations across the country and distributed worldwide. George has worked and toured with renowned Bass player and founding member of Blood Sweet and Tears - Jim Fielder. And has opened up for Destiny’s Child (Beyoncé‘s first band), and has played private events for high-profile, clients such as pro golfer, Bernhard Langer.
