Spring '24 - Concert Series

Parsons Pipe Organ Builders of Canandaigua, NY, recently completed a nearly total restoration of our church’s 1907 Viner & Son pipe organ. Parsons first rebuilt the air system—reservoir and bellows—to match the amount of air pressure originally envisioned by Charles Viner when he built the organ in the early 20th century. Next, each pipe was removed, cleaned, and re-voiced to accommodate the air pressure generated by the new wind system. Then, they rebuilt the keyboard mechanisms, which had become uneven and difficult to play reliably. The restored instrument is now capably leading congregational singing and should serve our church for another century or more. In celebration of the completion of this project, all are invited to a concert series this winter and spring.

All are welcome! A freewill offering will be collected to support music outreach at the church, and there will be a reception following each performance.
