Preaching Class

This past Sunday evening (11/12/23) the Preaching Class started. The class will be studying Martyn Lloyd Jones' book, Preachers and Preaching.

During each session, the participants will take turns preaching through the book of Philippians. All of those involved will provide feedback on the messages. Pastor Brandt commented, "In seminary, this is what helped me the most, being critiqued and critiquing sermons, which helped me think critically about each sermon." The evaluation will look at such things as: ... was the sermon faithful to the text? ... have I communicated to Christians and non-Christians? ... what was good about my delivery, such as eye contact, tone of voice, etc.?
