Kid’s Quest Science Fun night was a blast! The kids combined fun, hands-on experiments with wonder and discussion of God’s powerful presence in their lives. Some activities included experimenting with a tornado bottle that represented how Jesus calms the storms in our lives; ‘dancing raisins’- how God wants us to praise Him; balloon fun showed them that Jesus is a friend that will stick with them no matter what; and the highlight of the night was the volcano bottle experiment representing God’s overflowing love for us- when God fills us up with His love it spills out of us and we can share that love with others.
The heavens declare the glory of God,
and the sky above proclaims his handiwork.
Day to day pours out speech,
and night to night reveals knowledge.
There is no speech, nor are there words,
whose voice is not heard.
Their voice goes out through all the earth,
and their words to the end of the world.
Psalm 19:1-4 (ESV)
