104 Boxes for Operation Christmas Child

Thank you to those who have donated items throughout the year as well as their time by making crafts and assisting with the packing party. We had ~ 25 excited youth and adult ‘packers’ that carefully selected just the right gifts to fill a box full of love for a special child. Each person had the opportunity to pray over his or her box and the child that will be receiving it, all in the name of Jesus. Eighty-two boxes were packed at the party. A pizza lunch with Christmas cookies was enjoyed by all who attended.

We wish to thank all who filled individual boxes as well as generously donated money to offset the $10 shipping cost per box. Additional money needed was provided by the E & M budget.

Thank You once again for sharing your hearts, hands, and feet in this meaningful mission project. Thank You on behalf of children around the world who will be blessed by a shoebox gift thanks to the love and generosity of our congregation. These children will have the opportunity to hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ- the Greatest Gift Ever!!
