We are now on the third day of our Operation Christmas Child shoebox collection for this year. We have collected 572 boxes so far, with many more expected later in the week. The four trailers are in the parking lot, ready to be filled on Sunday and Monday. It's not too late to bring a shoebox to the church if you want to pack one!

We, as a church, have been collecting items for boxes all year, and our packing of shoeboxes formally started at VBS this summer. During VBS, one of the daily activities was learning about OCC. The children had a packing party on the last day and packed 39 boxes. During the Sunday School packing party on November 16, we packed another 35. With the shoeboxes that individuals packed, we now have 104 from our church.

Stop by the church on Thursday or Friday from noon to 2 pm, or Saturday from 9 am to 3 pm, to see all the collection activities and see the boxes piling up in the Fellowship Hall.
You are also invited to help or watch the trailers being loaded on Sunday afternoon from 1 pm to 4 pm. Continue to pray that we will fill all of the trailers! Remember, every box has the opportunity to share the Gospel with a child somewhere in the world.
Good News! Great Joy!
