Sports Camp '23

Sports Camp kicked off with a bang today! We had almost 50 kids in attendance and over 30 volunteers. Many of our volunteers were teens who have previously attended the camp! It was a beautiful night for sports and God in Bergen.

Kids participated in soccer, baseball, basketball, and vintage Catalino games. A delicious snack was provided and all of those in attendance received a sports camp T-shirt.

Each group of campers had a star student of the day, who showed God’s love through their words, actions, and attitude. These star students each received a special treat.

At the closing ceremony, a student was randomly picked to receive either a Mission ball, which is a basketball or soccer ball covered in scripture, or the Action Bible, which is a graphic novel of the entire Bible. Today’s camper chose the Action Bible and was very excited about getting home and reading it.

God is at work in Bergen in amazing ways! Please pray for everyone at camp, that they will come to salvation through Jesus, and that the light of God will shine throughout Bergen this week!
