Son Risers attend Waffle Breakfast

The Son Risers had a "break" for breakfast this last Saturday. Instead of cooking our own food, we had the chance to enjoy a meal cooked by others. Todd invited all the Son Risers to attend a Waffle Breakfast at his auction site in Batavia. Even pulling into the driveway we could smell the delicious breakfast being prepared. We were greeted by Chad cooking sausage outside on an open grill. Inside, we were served all-you-can-eat waffles, sausages, and coffee. Even though we arrived after Joe's family, there was still plenty for us! Over half of the Son Risers enjoyed the breakfast with their wives, families, and other friends.

The breakfast was put on by CMRS (Christians Missions & Relief Sale) which is coming up on August 10, 2024. This effort is to support the work of Christian Aid Ministries and East African Initiative. The CMRS is a great way to sharing of our abundance with the global church.
