Park Festival '25

The Bergen Park Festival was held on Saturday, June 14. Our church participated in both the parade and had a booth that community members could visit. The church information tri-fold with our ministry opportunities and mission programs we support was distributed. Information on Operation Christmas Child was also distributed, with some people taking home empty shoeboxes.

There was a table with VBS information, and we handed out save-the-date cards(how to register). The theme this year is 'Magnified'- Kids enjoyed the looking at rocks and plastic insects through the magnifying glasses and could take them home.

Brian, Bruce, Danielle, and Julie set up and took down the booths (we had 2).

Shirley, Delores, Sue C., Marty, and Pastor Brandt also helped in the booth during the day.

One of the special events of the day was Delores praying with two girls that she knew from previous years at VBS and the Young Life auctions. One of the girls had her arm bandaged, and she asked if she could pray for her.

The weather was absolutely beautiful. At the beginning of the week, it called for 1 inch of rain. However, we prayed and God gave us a rain-free day,
