Foodlink Gets Cold Start

Foodlink for '24 kicked off still solidly in winter. Despite some spring-like weather in the weeks before, Thursday, March 21 brought only a high of 28 degrees.

However, even with the cold, there were 30 30 volunteers and 99 people/families who came through the line according to Dick vonBergen, who manned the registration table. In addition, many others were taken boxes of food by various volunteers.

The next Foodlink distribution is Thursday, April 18th. We are hoping for warmer weather by then!
