Brilyn Challenges TAG Youth

We had a full group at TAG on Sunday, May 19th. After our opening social time and get-to-know-you activity, Brilyn Rebisz volunteered to lead the Bible study and reflection portion of the youth group. Brilyn chose to read, discuss, and reflect on Jeremiah 29:11 – “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” After giving all the teens an opportunity to share their own personal plans for the future, Brilyn shared her testimony, emphasizing the areas where she has experienced God’s hand leading and guiding her throughout the last few years. Brilyn emphasized the importance of finding a loving, Bible-believing church as you leave your home and family to start young adulthood. The teens then engaged in a competitive game of Sardines to end the evening. Overall, it was a great night, and I am very proud of Brilyn for stepping out in faith and leading the reflection.

Our TAG youth group will be meeting in the Teen Room on the following Sundays from 6:00-8:00 PM: June 2nd and June 16th. Please keep all the teens in our group, and in Bergen, in your prayers. Continue to pray for God’s protection and guidance in their lives!
