Brandon Northup Hired as Children/Youth Minister

On July 6, the Session voted to extend an offer to Brandon Northup to be our Children/Youth Minister. During the fall, Brandon will get to know our program for children and youth by participating in Sunday School, Kids Quest, and TAG. He will coordinate several activities during the next couple of months and help with Family Camp and the Fall Festival. He will work with Brandt and several other mentors to deepen his skills in children and youth ministry. He will also, hopefully, get to know us as a congregation, and we can get to know him. Until the end of the year, this will only be a 10-hour-a-week position.

Brandon Northup is Joan Edwards' Nephew. He has been involved in the youth program at Northgate Free Methodist church. He has led a young adult Bible study and been a camp counselor for children. He is a 2021 graduate of Churchville-Chili High School and a 2025 graduate of Roberts Wesleyan University with a degree in Business Administration. In both High School and College, Brandon participated in many sports and (as the youth have already discovered) “can ball”. He is currently pursuing his MBA at SUNY Brockport, with an expected graduation date in December of this year.
