Uli in Mexico City

Jose Ulianov preaches and provides tangible blessings to folks in an impoverished area of Mexico City.
Our church family has been supporting Uli for decades since he was a student at Elim here in WNY. They have planted a church in the outskirts of Mexico City and conduct street ministry in that impoverished area. They are building a church facility. He also has an online church that has many followers. Most recently, they have started an outreach specifically for college-age students.

Here is what Uli has to say:
They love to come to our house, play games, fellowship and most of all, hear God’s word. Now some of the parents started to come to the meetings too, and some of these kids started to invite friends. It has been a challenge to provide meals to all these hungry college students! But we are happy they want to be here and not in a crazy party! This is how we got started with this new outreach: my kids started to go to college, and they were invited to go a Saturday night parties, of course I did not want my kids to start going to those parties, so I told my kids, well, why don’t you invite your friends to come to a party in our house on Saturdays! They liked the idea and now we have a bunch of college students coming to my house @ 4:00 PM and some of they stay until 11:00 PM. At the end of the day, we are so tired but so happy we can provide a safe environment for kids to have fun and meet Jesus at the same time. Normally it is very hard to reach college students in Mexico, but it is happening here, at our house! We will learn more about these ministries when we speak with Uli on April 13.
